Profile

I am a board-certified small animal emergency and critical care specialist with over 20 years of clinical experience across academic, private, and referral practice settings in Canada and the United States. I completed my residency at North Carolina State University and previously served as an Assistant Professor of Emergency and Critical Care at the Ontario Veterinary College, where I trained residents and mentored students in both clinical practice and research.

I have extensive experience providing locum ER and ICU coverage and am known for my collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and commitment to high-quality patient care. In addition to my clinical work, I am also a speaker, author, and wellness advocate, with a focus on supporting sustainable careers in veterinary medicine.

I am available for emergency and critical care shifts and bring both clinical expertise and a calm, team-oriented presence to every hospital I support.
